Dear Lucy Hope,
Today is Austin’s birthday. He turns 18 and is now old
enough to vote. I am happy that he takes this seriously and we have had many
discussions about who it would be best to vote for. There are many candidates
and we hope that one of them will become President of the United States.
We still have not heard anything about our Letter of Intent,
so we just continue to wait. It’s been over three months since we sent our
letter, so it’s discouraging we haven’t heard anything yet. We’ve done this
before with Lily Grace and Lia Faith, so we know there’s always a lot of
unanticipated waiting involved; we just hoped that wouldn’t be the case this
time. In fact, we felt sure that we’d have you home by Christmas, but that’s
not looking very likely now. So we continue to wait…
In the meantime, Happy Birthday Austin!
